\ud83d\udcda <\/span>Entry and Knowledge Level<\/h2>\n

Anyone after Ordinary Level or Advanced Level can join Alpha Business School and start ACCA Knowledge level, which is also known as the Foundation Level or Diploma Level as there is no specific entry requirement.<\/p>\n

For a student after O\/L or A\/L, ACCA provides the foundational knowledge necessary for a career in finance, accounting, and business management. Successful completion of this level will gain one the ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business (RQF Level 4)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Subjects included:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Business and Technology (BT)<\/strong>: Business operations, ethics, governance<\/li>\n
  • Management Accounting (MA)<\/strong>: Costing, budgeting, performance management<\/li>\n
  • Financial Accounting (FA)<\/strong>: Bookkeeping, financial statements, Accounting Standards (IFRS)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The Knowledge Level prepares one for entry-level finance and accounting roles. Exams are on-demand computer-based exams (CBE), meaning they can be done any day when the student is ready and do not need to wait for specific dates and times like traditional exams.<\/p>\n

    Each exam lasts 2 hours, consists of approximately 50 multiple choice questions, and requires 50% to pass.<\/p>\n

    Students will be tutored by Sri Lanka\u2019s Most Experienced and Most Qualified Panel of Lecturers, an unarguable fact. Special achievements at this level at Alpha Business School include students completing the diploma including exams in less than 100 days, students completing the diploma at the age of 15, and having the only student who got a perfect 100\/100 score for any ACCA subject in Sri Lanka over the past 7 years.<\/p>\n

    The study material provided with the user-friendly LMS at Alpha Business School also supports students with quizzes, tutorials, lecture videos, revision, and mock exams.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    \ud83d\udcc8 <\/span>Skills Level (ACCA Advanced Diploma)<\/h2>\n

    Once the Diploma is complete, a student can start the ACCA Skills Level at Alpha Business School, also known as the ACCA Advanced Diploma. One can also start this level with exemptions from equivalent qualifications such as AAT.<\/p>\n

    Upon successful completion of the Skills Level, one will be awarded the ACCA Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business (RQF Level 6)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Six exams included:<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Corporate and Business Law (LW)<\/li>\n
    • Performance Management (PM)<\/li>\n
    • Taxation (TX)<\/li>\n
    • Financial Reporting (FR)<\/li>\n
    • Audit and Assurance (AA)<\/li>\n
    • Financial Management (FM)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The Skills Level is more demanding than Knowledge Level, requiring deeper analytical and application-based understanding. While the LW exam is an on-demand CBE exam similar to the Knowledge Level, the rest are center-based CBE exams held four times a year.<\/p>\n

      Each exam lasts 3 hours and consists of multiple choice and constructed response questions, requiring a 50% pass mark.<\/p>\n

      \ud83c\udf93 <\/span>Degree Options in Parallel<\/h2>\n

      A unique feature of ACCA is the option to follow a degree in parallel. ACCA has partnered with the University of London<\/strong>, the highest-ranked British University in Sri Lanka, accessible via Alpha Business School.<\/p>\n

      This degree program can be started after completing four ACCA Skills Level subjects and requires just two modules plus research to obtain a B.Sc in Professional Accounting<\/strong>. This UGC-recognized program takes a minimum of one year and exempts the balance two ACCA Skills Level subjects (PM and FM).<\/p>\n

      Additionally, Alpha Business School offers a 10-month Top-up BBA in Accounting from the International American University, USA, also recognized by the University Grants Commission.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

      This level prepares students for senior roles in accounting, finance, auditing, and management with focus on strategic decision-making, advanced financial reporting, leadership, and ethics.<\/p>\n

      • Mandatory: Strategic Business Leader (SBL) and Strategic Business Reporting (SBR)<\/li>\n
      • Choose 2 from: Advanced Financial Management (AFM), Advanced Performance Management (APM), Advanced Taxation (ATX), Advanced Audit and Assurance (AAA)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Each exam is a 3-hour centre-based CBE with scenario-based constructed response questions.<\/p>\n
